New trailer Warner Brothers‘ A Minecraft Movie gets a little help from his great friends: to the tune of The Beatles’ “Magical Mystery Tour” trailer Bringing the best-selling video game of all time to the big screen.

Warner Bros. From Pictures and Legendary Pictures, A Minecraft Movie Directed by Jared Hess and starring Jason Momoa And Jack Black In a fairy tale where creativity is not just a pastime, but also a survival mechanism.

The film also stars Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen, along with Jennifer Coolidge.

Here’s the synopsis: “Welcome to Minecraft, a world where creativity doesn’t just help you craft, it’s essential to your survival! Four misfits — Garrett “Stickman” Garrison (Momoa), Henry (Hansen), Natalie (Myers), and Dawn (Brooks) — find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they’re suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a whimsical, cubic wonderland built on imagination. In order to return home, they must master this world (and protect it from nasty things like Hogs and Zombies) and embark on a magical quest with an unlikely, expert craftsman, Steve (Black). Together, their adventures will challenge all five to be brave and reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative… the skills they need to succeed in the real world.”

Director Hess’ behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Enrique Chediak, production designer Grant Major, editor James Thomas, VFX supervisor Dan Lemmon and costume designer Amanda Neale, with music supervisors Gabe Hilfer and Karyn Rachtman, and music by Mark Mothersbaugh.

Roy Lee, Jon Berg, Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Jason Momoa, Jill Messick, Torfi Frans Olafsson and Vu Bui are producing, with Todd Hallowell, Kayleen Walters, Brian Mendoza, Jonathan Spaihts, Pete Chiappetta, Andrew Lary and Anthony Tittanegro serving as executive producers. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures present a Vertigo Entertainment/On The Roam/Mojäng Aktiebolag Production and a Jared Hess Film.

A Minecraft Movie It will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures and in China by Legendary East, and will be released theatrically and in IMAX in North America on April 4, 2025, and internationally starting on April 2, 2025.
