DEWALT Launches TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 30-Inch Modular Workstation System Source: DEWALT

DEWALT announced the launch of the new TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL for construction sites. The solution is a 30-inch modular storage system with a functional workstation that can be transported and constructed to withstand harsh jobsite conditions.

The newly launched TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL series includes four 30-inch products: Workbench, Deep Drawer Unit, Two-Drawer Unit and Rolling Cart. All components are customizable, compatible with existing TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 products and fit under most truck hoods. TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 modules can be connected and stacked from the top or bottom of TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL Drawers using the patented automatic connecting front latches.

TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL features

• TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 30-in. Workbench (DWST08550): Provides a flat, durable, multipurpose work surface with five integrated slots for hanging tools and two cup holders. The reinforced work surface can also be widened using integrated screw holes for mounting 2×4 beams or plywood to create a task bench on the job site.
• TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 30″ Deep Drawer Unit (DWST08510): Provides large-scale storage volume of 11.62 gallons/44 liters and organization with removable dividers and side metal shelves for hanging power tools and accessories. The drawer opens with ball-bearing slides and locks securely with an automatic quick-lock mechanism. The total load capacity of the drawer is 55 lbs/25 kg, and an integrated metal bar secures tools inside using a padlock eye.
• TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 30″ Two-Drawer Unit (DWST08520): Shares the same design and functionality as its deep-drawer counterpart and features generous storage with a total load capacity of 55 lbs./25 kg (27.5 lbs./12.5 kg per drawer) and a volume of 9.04 gallons/34.3 liters. Also features an integrated metal bar for securing tools.
• TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 30″ Dolly (DWST08530): Features an impact-resistant body structure and large, 6″ heavy-duty wheels designed to maneuver over rough terrain and withstand harsh environments. The dolly can carry a load of up to 440 lbs./200 kg.

Each piece is available independently or together as the TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 5-in-1 Tower (DWST60510) or TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 4-in-1 Tower (DWST60520). The 4-in-1 Tower contains one of each product, while the 5-in-1 Tower contains two 30″ Deep Drawer units.

In addition, DEWALT TOUGHSYSTEM has launched a range of storage kits designed for use with 2.0 DXL modules and the Metal Workshop Storage System, including the Power Tool Storage Kit (DWST086501), Workshop Storage Kit (DWST086502), and Jobsite Storage Kit (DWST086503).
