Wireless charging is one of those magical technologies that was supposed to be all about convenience, but its early implementations were anything but and required precise alignment. stingy charging coilsThankfully, we’ve come a long way since then, and nowadays you can take the guesswork out of wireless charging with systems that use magnets to line everything up precisely and hold it securely in place. Today, we’re learning about Anker’s latest products as the company introduces its new MagGo series with support for Apple’s Magnetic Power Profile (MPP).

Anker is showing off a brand new accessory line at IFA 2024 in Berlin. The resulting MagGo branding not only evokes magnets that enhance your wireless charging experience, but it also really emphasizes portability. We see that right away when we look at the 3-in-1 MagGo Wireless Charging Station. It folds up into a pocket-sized package and fits on itself. It supports 15W charging for your phone, plus 5W each for two accessories, and it’s on sale for just $90.

If you don’t need to power that many devices at once, check out the MagGo Wireless Charger , a basic stand that lets you display your phone while it charges and rotate it however you want. That one retails for $40 and should be available now. And if you’re primarily interested in the “stand” part of this, consider the Anker MagGo Magnetic Case and Stand , a $30 MagSafe-compatible iPhone case with a pop-up ring stand to prop up your phone.

Anker also has a couple of new power banks that help build out its MagGo line. You can choose between a $70 slim model that has a magnetic mount for your phone, both with 10,000mAh components, or an $80 model designed to wirelessly charge your Apple Watch while charging your phone via USB. Both of these devices offer 30W wired USB-C output in addition to their wireless capabilities.

Unless otherwise noted, all of these MagGo accessories support Qi2 and 15W wireless charging. While Anker clearly designed this series with Apple hardware in mind, it’s not a MagSafe compatible case or adapter.
