On the first weekend of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 betaCOD legend Seth ‘Scump’ Abner has taken the top spot in Twitch viewership, leaving behind many world champions and top streamers.

Between August 30th and September 4th, Call of Duty players had the opportunity to experience the game. Black Ops 6 for the first time ahead of its launch on October 25, 2024.

The beta is always a big moment in the COD calendar, and it’s important for players as well as content creators who want to get the best start to the new year and see what the next 12 months have in store.

With sentiment around Black Ops 6 being largely positive, it’s no surprise that streamers are pulling in thousands of viewers – but surprisingly, it was Scump who came out on top in terms of viewership during the first beta weekend. Statistics from SullyGnome.

Top 10 most watched streamers Black Ops 6 beta

Scump has moved past his former OpTic teammate Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro to take the top spot, while Shotzzy himself has seen huge growth in his stream during this interim period of the Call of Duty League.

The top 10 also includes 2013 COD world champion Tyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow, French stars Skyrroz and Corentin ‘Gotaga’ Houssein, and longtime Call of Duty streamers Mason ‘Symfuhny’ Lanier and Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar.

Scump was one of the most successful COD players of all time, and now he’s doing it on Twitch too.

Just outside the top 10 were former Scump teammates Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell and Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter, as well as German streamer Stylerz.

There’s still another weekend of beta play on September 6, and players will get a few final days of play before the game’s official launch, so it’s hard to imagine many COD streamers being able to compete with Scump’s numbers.
