Grassley Reveals New Details on Iran-Backed Plot to Assassinate Biden, Trump, Haley

“I will not stop pressing for answers until Congress and the American people get the transparency they deserve,” he added.

The FBI did not approve of the Iowa senator sharing the whistleblower’s revelations with the public.

“The FBI does not comment specifically on documents allegedly disclosed without authorization,” the agency said in a statement to Fox News. “Making public statements about potential cooperation from sensitive, ongoing national security investigations and matters is irresponsible and undermines the FBI’s ability to conduct comprehensive investigations and enforcement actions that keep Americans safe. It also puts lives at risk, especially when dealing with an adversary like Iran.”
