Dutch venue management software provider Aqqo acquires LVP

Based in the Netherlands Akkoannounced that it has acquired venue management software provider LVPA Dutch software provider for the management of sports facilities and public spaces, serving mainly municipalities since 1988.

Founded by Hein Lambert as Lambert Venture Promotion BV, LVP has evolved from a consultancy firm into a software company, developing various software packages including AMIS for the management of sports facilities.

The company offers solutions such as microcomputer networks and paved the way for SaaS services by offering a client/server system with Java. In 1997, Annet Miedema formalized AMIS under Compudienst/LVP and took over full-time leadership in 2005.

Today, LVP’s software serves customers such as APG and large municipalities in the Netherlands.

“We have always been pioneers in terms of continuous innovation and adaptation to our customers’ needs. Combining our expertise with Aqqo is a natural next step,” says Annet Miedema, former owner of LVP.

Purpose of acquisition

Aqqo and LVP have joined forces to become the market leader in venue management software for municipally managed sports facilities, currently serving over 100 municipalities.
